Well, EoTN has been delayed in Australia, so me and all my friends are buying through the store.

I just want to ask: What does this mean for my account? - I've heard all sorts of horror stories about linking an account to a PlayNC account.

Will I still be able to change my password/account name?

Once you link your GW account to a PlayNC account you won't be able to change the login username (ie the e-mail you set GW to use). However you can still change the e-mail that anet/plaync use to send you information.

This means that you will always use the same login, even if your home/main e-mail address changes, you'd change that detail to in your plaync master account to keep getting any and all e-mails from plaync/anet concerning GW & any other plaync games attached to that master account.

You will also be able to change your password, but once linked you can only make passwords up to 13 characters long.

And finally, to make an purchase via the online store you have to link to a plaync master account (creating one if you didn't already have one).
